REGULAR EVENTS: Show Time

We have a lot of dancers in NotTooHot and a lot of people who have become interested in dance performance. We have quite a few dance shows at the Club, which are a lot of fun and often involve elaborate sets, huge preparation and many performers. These will continue.

Now that we have had two special events (Mardi Gras/Carnaval and the Ides of March) which included one-song dances every 15 minutes, this has given me an idea of a means for experienced performers to have some fun and beginning performers to get started. We will start a weekly event for one-song dance performances. I want to call it SHOW TIME. Here is how it will work ...

SHOW TIME

WHEN
11 am Fridays
7 pm Sundays

WHERE
NotTooHot Undersized Stage

PERFORMERS
One to as many performers as you want, but the lead performer must be a NotTooHot member

SCHEDULE
Each performance will occur in 15 minute increments. At the beginning of the performance the stage is empty and at the end the stage is empty. You can perform dance for one song (or more) during the 15 minutes, set up whatever sets you want, if any, and control the stream. You can use part or all of the 15 minutes. This means that you can schedule with me a performance for 11:00, 11:15, 11:30 and 11:45 am on Fridays or 7:00, 7:15, 7:30 or 7:45 pm on Sundays. You can schedule in advance to be sure you have a confirmed time for your desired time slot. If a time slot is not taken, the slot is available for impromptu performances during SHOW TIME.

LOGISTICS
You can use a set or none at all. The performances must be on the stage and not elsewhere in the Club. You can rezz up to 300 prims. If you want to store prims below the club you can. You can invite friends because SHOW TIME will initially be Open to the Public (OP). You need to arrange the stream. Any member can control the stream so either you stream or you get another member to stream for you.

CONCEPT
The idea is to have fun and offer a way for experienced dancers to show what they want, new dancers to have a way to start performing, and all of us to have fun.
